So you're thinking about joining us. Whether you are a member of the public, you have ambitions to become an Independent Councillor, or are currently serving as one, we have an option for you.
Our aim is to help Independents across Essex beat the odds, get elected and make our Councils more responsive to residents. We have no ambition to control anyone, which is why we have no manifesto or whip to enforce it. Read more about our Party here.

For anyone interested in EI. Our most basic subscription is free and is intended for those wishing to follow what the Party is doing.
ASSOCIATE
£15 per year
For Independents and members of other political parties. Get involved with EI, whilst retaining complete political independence.
£20 per year
MEMBER
Regular Party membership. All the benefits of belonging to a Political Party, with your independence protected by our unique constitution.
PATRON
£500 per year
Party membership with a subscription to our Patrons Club. Make a significant contribution to help us achieve our independent vision for Essex.
